Starsiege TRIBES is a revolutionary first-person shooter set in the Starsiege Universe which pits different warring tribes against each other.

This first-person 3D action shooter is designed from scratch to focus on cooperative multiplayer gaming. This is my all time favorite fps game. When this first came out, I had a 56k modem, and the multiplayer was so smooth, so sweet I couldn’t believe it. It was the first game that I could actually play online without lag.
Plus the game play itself was just great, I wasted(?!?!) many hours pwning enemies with great bloodlust in my heart!
I highly recommend this game.

FYI ~ I couldn’t find any mention of Tribes on the official Sierra website (http://www.sierra.com/en/home.html) …. but the download link is from ftp://ftp.sierra.com/pub/sierra/tribes/other/tribes_fullgame.exe …. go figure.
