Interclue
If there is something useful at the end of a link - Interclue can tell you! Hover your mouse pointer over the link, and a Linkclue icon will appear. Rest your mouse on the icon and up pops a summary of the linked page.
Interclue can give you:

  • A text content summary
  • A small snapshot of the page
  • Statistics and metadata
  • Sizes and dates of linked files
  • Next actions - save, email…
  • And more. Check the options!

Unlike other preview addons, Interclue shows you readable text, live from the page - it doesn’t show the whole page, just the good bits. It works almost everywhere, and it works fast.
With the Interclue browser add-on you’ll see less and know more, click less and do more. Handy icons and tooltips tell you about each link before you click, and relevant actions appear right next to your cursor.
You’ll never have to open a site in the dark again—Interclue will tell you if the content is objectionable, full of paid-for links, or just plain irrelevant.
You want more value from the time you spend online
, particularly if you’re a researcher, journalist, blogger, or content creator, and you’re going to find Interclue really useful.
Try out Interclue for Firefox now — install the free version.
Unlike the basic link preview tools currently available, Interclue gets you the information you need without getting in the way. We’re completely dedicated to providing an add-on that makes your time on the web less irritating, less distracting, more productive, and more fun!

I love this extension! It gives you quick, deep info on any link you hover on by putting the cursor on the icon that appears.

Power users this is a must have. If you are an average web surfer you probably won’t need this, but I still have to say its worth getting regardless.
